Reign of Retro

Combining practicality with plenty of 1960’s vibes this shower room is the perfect answer to a spacious downstairs bathroom.

This 1930s home met the eyes of Showroom Manager and Senior Designer Joanne Crane at Ripples Reigate, who transformed the space into a distinctive shower room, practical for everyday use in a family home. With the challenge of narrow space Joanne started with a scheme of colours and a variety of patterns and textures, which led to the use of hexagonal patterned tiles, and white textured tiles, both of which open up the space and provide character to an otherwise plain wall. The dark grey and blue tones lent themselves to sleek brushed brassware that was styled throughout the room on the fixed showerhead, hand shower, shower mixer and basin mixer.
