Gallery: Master ensuite with coloured bath and matching basin

This stunning master ensuite blends neutral tones with subtle pops of pale purple to create a calming space for rest and retreat.

This client, based in North West London, wanted to create a space dedicated to relaxation and as this project was a full bathroom re-design, our designer was able to re-imagine the space to create the perfect conditions to unwind in.

Working with a large footprint, the designer was able to incorporate both a freestanding bath and large walk-in shower, whilst also maintaining lots of open space which helps the room remain bright and airy. The client chose a statement freestanding bath as the centre piece for the room, opting for a pale purple colour which strikes the perfect balance between subtle and bold. The bath has a soft texture and finely lipped edge which are both perfect for a relaxing soak. A pair of matching coloured basins were chosen to complement the bath and create symmetry within the space. These basins are positioned on top of Scandi-style wooden worktops, with matching floating draws, creating a spa-inspired look and maintaining a flow around the room.

At the opposite end of the ensuite is the large walk-in shower. By using the same tile across the entire floor and shower area, our designer was able to create a seamless look, with no harsh changes in tone or texture. An in-built niche spreads across the two shower walls, providing ample storage space for shower products and allowing the floor area to remain clear. A generously-sized ladder radiator has been positioned within easy reach of the shower and has been painted in a colour which complements the natural stone-effect tiles used throughout the walls and floor.
