Magical and Moroccan-inspired, these two petite en-suites were cleverly designed to make the most of the space available.
With awkward spaces, such as diagonal walls and tight corners, Jo Sangster at Ripples Reigate had a challenging brief but has accomplished designing two neat and functional bathrooms. To create plenty of storage space, she used niches to as area to put all shower essentials. And, chose shallow units with deep drawers so the kids can stash towels, flannels and extra bottles neatly away.
For one shower space, she chose a pentagonal shower and in the other room used three existing walls and a simple door. Both doors are able to open inwards, again providing an extra space-saving option.
We love the muted, mint green hues and dark, monochrome shades keeping each bathroom feeling modern but characterful with starry, encaustic tiles. Once small, under-utilised areas are now practical washrooms for two children in this family home.
